KhmerLens Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the KhmerLens mobile application provided by KR STUDIO. By using KhmerLens, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Permitted use
KhmerLens grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the app for lawful document scanning, OCR, PDF, search, export, and related productivity purposes.
Your content
You retain ownership of documents, images, text, and other content you provide. You give KhmerLens and its service providers only the limited permission needed to process content for features you request. You are responsible for having the right to scan, process, store, and share that content.
Cloud and AI features
Some features transmit selected content to our Firebase backend and relevant Google processing services after the applicable privacy choice is enabled. Automated OCR and AI output can contain errors. You must review important output before relying on it for legal, financial, medical, identity, or other high-impact decisions.
Advertising and paid features
The free version may display advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads. Advertising privacy choices are described in the Privacy Policy. If paid plans or purchases are offered, their displayed price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation options, and platform-store rules apply.
Prohibited use
You may not use KhmerLens to violate law or third-party rights, distribute malware, bypass security or usage limits, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits, or process content for which you lack authorization.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, limits, or integrations. Cloud and third-party features can be unavailable because of network conditions, provider changes, maintenance, or security restrictions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
No professional advice
KhmerLens provides productivity tools, not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. OCR, translation, extraction, and AI results should be independently verified where accuracy matters.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KhmerLens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or error-free output. KR STUDIO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Account suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse, or comply with law. You may stop using the app and delete your account and data at any time by following the Account and Data Deletion instructions.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when KhmerLens, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
